Sybase Server message 7415

Post by midhun0077 »

Hi,

I am getting this message while extracting data from a sybase table-
"Sybase Server message 7415"

and the datastage job is in running state.

What may be the possible reasons?

No clue, but you could Google for it or ask your Sybase DBA. Seems like it could be a "database log almost full" message, from what I saw out there. :?

The transaction log/ segment space is full. Contact your DBA to clear it. The job does not abort/stop when transaciton log is full. Also if you are using bcp stage, give an appropriate commit size . The commit size can be given in the parameter batch size.
