Hi
Iam trying to establish connectivity to SQL Server 2000 in .odbc.ini file.
The SQL Server 2000 has an instance(pactstest) and a database (temp_pacts) in that instance. I am having trouble with the connectivity.
Here is the entry in the .odbc.ini file.
[temp_pacts]
Driver=dss/Ascential/DataStage/branded_odbc/lib/VMmsss20.s1
Description=DataDirect SQL Server Wire Protocol
Database=temp_pacts
LogonID=
Password=
Address=10.1.1.25/pactstest,1433
QuotedId=No
AnsiNPW=No
DSR.MetaGeta(GET.TABLES)(SQLConnect('temp_pacts','pactsuser')): BCI Error:
SQLSTATE=08001,CODE=11,[DataStage][SQL Client][ODBC][DataDirect][ODBC SQL Server Driver][libssclient20]General network error. Check your network documentation.
SQLSTATE=01000,CODE=11,[DataStage][SQL Client][ODBC][DataDirect][ODBC SQL Server Driver][libssclient20]ConnectionOpen (10.1.1.25/pactstest,1433()).
I am not sure whether I have referenced the instance(pactstest) correctly.
Could any one let me know how to configure the database which resides in the instance.
Thanks in advance
Thanks
