Road to Datastage Certification !

Post by Minhajuddin »

Hi all,

I am planning to take up Datastage certification this month. I have been through a lot of useful stuff on the web. I am planning to document the preparation I do, and my experiences on my blog (<a href = "http://minhajuddin.blogspot.com" >http://minhajuddin.blogspot.com</a>). Please drop by sometime and give your valuable suggestions. If you have already taken this certification It would be great if you gave me some tips.

Thank you !!

Go to the IOD 2008 conference in the last week of October in Las Vegas and you can take the tests for free (up to three attempts, anyway, any more are at a discounted rate).

@Ray:
Thanks for your suggestion, It would have taken a lot more money for me to go to Las Vegas and take a certification there (I live in India).

I have finally finished my certification ("finally" because, I have been planning for this for a long long time....). And I feel very happy now that I have finished my certification. It's a great feeling to finally have some benchmark against which I can be compared, Not to mention the gaps filled up during the preparation. All in all, it was a wonderful journey for me.

As for the exam it was not as tough as I had expected. I recommend all the DSXchanger's to try to take this exam as it helps build your confidence in yourself and fills a lot of gaps in your knowledge.

Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeee :D

vinodbp - do you really expect a faster answer by posting the exact same question many times on different threads?
