Permission denied wirting reject files

Post by vipson »

I have a job that is suppose to write rejected records into reject files on our UNIX server. During the run, I am getting error:

S_Reject_Pto_aten_Clnica,0: Unable to open
/xyz/etl/reject/MyProject/Rejec_DIM/PTO_ATEN_CLINICA: Permission
denied.

Looks like I don't have write permissions in that directory.

How can I assist my DS admin to troubleshoot/fix the issue?

Just tell them that your id (datastage id) needs read/write permissions to that particular folder.
Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.
