DATATAGE EXPORT's

Using the datastage client utilities we can export the jobs. dsexport.exe provides option for design or executable for a job.

When exporting the whole project using dsexport if we use a switch /exec /append, the command fails?

(it works for exporting individual job)

can you tell me that when we export the whole peoject do we get the design, executable or both in both the cases:
1. using dsexport
2. using dscmdexport

Hi,

If i am not wrong the commaand line Import/Export does not have options to import either design or executable alone. Both design and executables get imported/exported.

DSCMDEXPORT is better to export the whole project, it includes the executables also,
