How to create dsn

Hi all,

How to create dsn on aixV5.3 from datastage.

I have tried with the following options. like

in
1]/Source [folder]/odbc/aix/tarfiles/odbc.ini

I had made changes.
2]
in /home/<username>/Ascential/DataStage/banded_odbc[folder]/odbc.ini

I had made changes.
3]
in /home/<username>/Ascential/DataStage/banded_odbc[folder]Ascential_tools/odbc.ini


But I am getting the error while working with datastage manager

% Empty DSN:list returned from the host[Host no]. %

I had tried with the above all posiblities,i konwn.Please educate me regarding this topic

There are two places you need to do edits, none of them where you've tried yet. I'd suggest you undo whatever you did and then read this post:
