Where to find licensing information

Post by vputta »

We just upgraded to 11.5 version. For previous versions, we use to find Licensing information in Administration tool and also in Information Server Web console. But 11.5 version doesn't show this information.
I know the licensing information can be obtained from IBM through PVU values. But I want to know if this information is already listed anywhere.

You may already know this... but this is the starting point:

Log into the IBM Passport Advantage web site with your IBM ID and IBM Customer number and view your entitlements. From there you can see what licenses you have, PVU quantities, etc.

After that you can use operating system commands to check how many cores are allocated and make sure it matches your PVU quantities, according to the IBM PVU Calculator, which is somewhere on the IBM web site.
