Generate report only producing xml file, but no html report

We are currently migrating from DS 8.7 to 11.3.

In DS 11.3, when I try to generate a Report on any job using the DS Designer GUI, I am prompted for some parameters as usual, but after clicking to proceed in this dialogue, I see the busy-circle-cursor for some seconds and nothing more happens. I get the XML file on my local pc, but no report. It's not on my local host, nor is it saved to the reporting console.

When I tried to generate the report using the comand line interface, I experienced the same: nothing happened.

Do you have any idea on how to fix this?

I'd suggest you contact support, see if this is a known (i.e. patched) issue.

It works fine on 11.3.1.2. I would also suggest trying the same thing from a few other clients to narrow it down to client tier vs. non-client tier.
