Password Encryption through ParameterSet

Hi

I have Database table with all Database Names, User Name and Password(Text).

I have Datastage Job which creates Parameter Set when i set Password parameter as Encrypted, Job is failing due to password incorrect,it was success otherway round. But i want to make this encrypted. is that possible?

Legally, no.

The DataStage BASIC encryption algorithm can be found if one searches hard enough. However there is no guarantee that the same algorithm will be used in future versions.
