Parameter Set issue : Value not gettting propogated

Parallel job utilizes a parameter set comprised of job parameters. Sequence job has the same parameter set added to its job properties. The job activity within the job sequence sets the controlled job's parameter value. When the job sequence is run from the director client, an override value is entered for one of the parameters within the parameter, but the value from sequence job doesnt get propogated to the job activity.

I have read the forum and found that the patch E118296 need to be installed. What I am wondering is that there are other jobs in the same project where the paramere set value is getting propagated correctly. Why not in this new job?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Have you tried re-compiling the sequence?

Yes both the sequence and the job had been recompiled. But the issue persists.
