deleting a project

Post by vamsi.4a6 »

Difference between deleting a project from Datastage Adminstrator Client and deleting the project manually which is found in below link

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocente ... layer.html

I believe both are same and correct me if i am wrong?
Thanks and Regards

They both accomplish the same thing. However, one is button click and the other is a pain in the butt that requires several slides to document.

To be more specific - you only delete a project manually when the automatic deletion from the administrative tool fails.

Hopefully it goes without saying that any manual method would be a weapon of last resort.
