Password Encryption and Decryption in Datastage

Post by JaisonJ »

I have encrypted the password using /opt/IBM/InformationServer/ASBNode/bin/encrypt.sh shell in datastage (Linux Server).

Is there any way to decrypt the password from the encrypted password?

No.

By default encrypt uses AES-128 encryption. With the kind of hardware DataStage runs on, you'd need centuries to crack these.
