Run datastage job and print complete log with one command

Post by spider8ic »

Hello

Our current process is collecting the dsjob -run output and storing it in the database. But, it doesnt give the entire log that i see in the director.

I do know that i can do a dsjob -logdetail to get the detailed log. But is it possible to run the datastage job and output with a single command?

Thank you.
cheers!

Welcome aboard.

How about dsjob -logsum (summary)? There is no single command that will get you the full detail of the entire log, in much the same way and for the same reason that you cannot do it in Director.

You could script it so that it appears as a single command to your process
