System Requirement for DS 8.5 installation

Hi All,

Need to install data stage 8.5 on windows 2003 EE mechine,

please suggest me the RAM, Memory and any other specification to proceed.

Gone through the link, but I am not got the info clearly.

I need a info that, to install DS 8.5 on windows, what should be the,

1. RAM cpacity
2. Physical memory
3. 32bit or 64 bit

1) Depends on your topology. If you plan on installing all tiers on one machine, you need a minimum of 6 GB of RAM.

2) Disk space required depends on which products within the Information Server suite you decide to install. The pre-req checker will verify that you have enough disk space. Note that the operational disk space requirements are bigger than the minimum requirements.

3) I believe 8.5 supports both 32 and 64 bit installations for Windows. When downloading the software, you have to download the version you want.
