Xmeta roll backs

Post by peep »

IIS 8.7 AIX
we have large num of xmeta roll backs on all servers .
So I tested on a new lpar where DS Enginr is up and still (nt running) there no DS functionality. Dba could see xmeta roll backs .
Any thoughts , suggestions?

Tests:
Stopped dsengine .. Rollbacks occurs
Stopped node agents .. Rollbacks occurred .
With this test I can say xmeta rollbacks are independent with dsengine.

Question:
does WAS has anything to do with Xmeta rollbacks?

Why do you think it's an issue?
Rolling back uncommitted transactions (for example when a session is disconnected) is a perfectly normal part of database operations.

If you are really concerned and want to track down the root cause of this behaviour, involve your official support provider. Afterwards, come back and let us know what you found out.
