Unable to view job in Folder in Datastage after restart

Post by krishna410 »

Hi All,

I have restarted the Datastage server(version 8.5) because of login problem DS Client.

After restart it is able to login, but not able to view the job in folders.

Just showing only the folder in the Repository.

Please help me on this.

Thanks In Advance....

Sounds like the indexing may be corrupt. Search DSXchange for usage of the DS.REINDEX ALL command.

What Ray suggested is right. In my env we had the same issue, but the job is available for one user and not for other (not a permission issue)
Thanks

Also try the DS.CHECKER command from the Administrator client Command execution. Please note it requires that no-one be logged into the project and no jobs executing on the project.

If it turns out that doesn't fix the problem you can call customer service and request SYNCPROJECT to see if it can re-synchronize your XMETA repository with the UV repository. That tool is shipped with 8.7 and above, but must be downloaded on earlier releases. It also requires no activity on the project to run correctly.

Both of those commands have "Fix it" options you can add to the command line if they discover problems.

Sync Project should be a part of ISA Lite even in version 8.5.
