Oracle Configuration to Datastage8.7 on Linux (64 bit)

Post by prasson_ibm »

Hi,
We need to install Oracle server version on the server (Linux 64 bit OS) where we have installed datastage8.7.For that i need few understanding before starting:-
1.Can we install Oracle server version ( for Linux6.4 bit )on the same server where we installed datastage8.7(Repository we are using as DB2 ).

2.IF yes how can we configure oracle server to work with datastage i.e. what settings do we need to add in dsenv to make it work.

Anyone help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks
Prasoon

Why not simply read the documentation? I don't have it handy right now and I don't really see the point of doing a copy/paste of things here that are in the standard documentation library.
