I'm trying to invoke dssh shell from the command prompt and I'm getting
below messages.
bash-3.2$ This directory is not set up for DataStage.
-bash: This: command not found
-bash-3.2$ Would you like to set it up (Y/N)?

My question is do I need to install the dssh shell to invoke DS_IMPORTDSX
if so what option do I need to select from above 5 options.
I really appreciate if some one can guide me to right direction in using DS_IMPORTDSX command
Thanks,
Raju

First: I found 19 matches when I did an exact search for "This directory is not set up for DataStage" so we've talked about this before.
Secondly I hoped you answered that question with a big "N" for no. As a search would have shown, you should only be invoking the DataStage shell from either the DSEngine directory or a Project directory, they have been "set up for DataState". To move from account to account once initiated use the LOGTO command.
Why do you feel you need to use DS_IMPORTDSX rather than the supplied external functions?
