Change delfault path for importing jobs/unlock a folder

Post by pdntsap »

We are trying to import some jobs (from .dsx files) and the jobs are trying to import to a specific folder that seems to have been accidentally locked by us. My questions are:

1. How to change the folder to which the jobs get imported ?(we are importing the jobs using the 'Import' option in the DataStage Designer).

2. How to unlock a locked folder?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

What happens in the import box when you click on the little box with "..." to the right of the filename field?

(Ignore this post, I just realized I misunderstood the question)

try this link.

https://www-304.ibm.com/support/docview ... wg21469893

But try your other regular methods of unlocking objects first.
Terminating sessions from your web console.
etc...

I'm assuming that you contacted your Admin FIRST when you noticed the folder locked.

I'm an admin... I'd prefer to have a customer report that something is locked and needs attention, rather than a customer forwarding me a link telling me how to do my job.

BTW: If I get an email at work today with that link in it... you will be slapped.
