We are going to migrate all our jobs to 8.5 this sunday. It would be great if anybody provide me the post verification steps.

Do a run in 8.5 and 8.1 then compare the results using any comparision utility for accuracy.

Check you DB2 stages. Patch up the environment before the users hop in. you may find your oddities during the recompile phase.

What you should have done is gone to 8.7 instead of 8.5, used the IBM Concierge service to help with the upgrade, got a copy of the Migration tool that helps check job status and row counts across all jobs prior to and after the upgrade.

Since you haven't planned ahead you need to do treat this as a straight regression test, you need uniform runs across the 8.1 and 8.5 environments. This may mean duplicating a database target schema so you can compare 8.1 loaded tables to 8.5 loaded tables. Run row count comparisons between the two databases.
