Error adding to schedule: at: you are not authorized to use

Hi,
When we try to schedule job through director,we are getting following error
"Error adding to schedule: at: you are not authorized to use at. sorry "
we are using user id DSADM.
please help me in this ,how we can resolve this error and schedule jobs through director.

Get authorized. Talk to your SysAdmin. Make sure you have cron access as well while you're at it.

Your SysAdmin should know about at.allow and cron.allow files. If not, get a competent SysAdmin.

It sounds like the unix admin went out of their way to disable scheduling capabilities...

No, they just need the scheduling user added to cron/at.allow, something that doesn't typically happen 'out of the box'.

Ah, I thought scheduling was enabled by default...

user dsadm has UID set to 0 (equivalent to root) which is not a standard to client. so they removed access to schedule jobs or cron access.
changed UID 0 to 286 and given access .
Now we can able to schedule jobs through datastage director.

That reminds me, a past unix admin I worked with had a custom license plate on his car....
