Error while creating job , erro on create.file command

HI All,

While i am importing jobs to DataStage 8.5 , i am facing below error.

Error while creating job, jobname.
Error on create.file command(Write attempt on readonly file. Unable to write item RT_Config1627... ** Processing can not continue***)

Permissions. Have you checked what they are in the Project's directory for that folder?

You mean.. the jobs folder in the repository while exporting..

We got these .dsx files from IBM..

You need to logon to UNIX server (where DS is installed) and navigate to your project folder and check for permissions.

I have 777 permission on the project folder..
/opt/IBM/InformationServer/Server/Projects> ls -lrt ProjectName
drwxrwxrwx

Keep going deeper, RT_CONFIG1627 is a directory under your project, check the permissions of it and its contents.

it has 2 files Data.30 & OVER.30 files with rw-rw-r-- permissions..

Actually, it has three files (one is hidden) and you also need to check the permissions of that directory itself. As noted.

Yes folder has one hidden file..

Foder permission are: rwxrwxr-x

Hey we don't have Datastage admin .. we are only taking care of it.. so please let me know ...

In the mean time.. VOC file is having rwxrwxr-x permission .. so ihave changed it to 777... let me try again and will let you know..,

Any suggestion we will be greatly helpfull...
