Please make sure your OS is supported and call IBM Support about this.

Have you ever edited the UV.ACCOUNT table?

Windows XP is not a supported OS for the server portion.

Officially, yes, it's a problem. However, others have been able to install (unsupported) on Windows XP sp2.

Can you open a CMD shell, cd to the installation directory, then to Server\DSEngine?
(For example C:\IBM\InformationServer\Server\DSEngine)

Once there, execute the command bin\uv

This should take you to TCL, with > as the prompt character.

Please execute LIST.ITEM UV.ACCOUNT command while there, and post the result.

Then enter QUIT to exit from TCL.
