Datastage 8.1 Version on WAS 7

Hi All,

We are upgrading from WAS 6.0.27 to 7 version , My worry is, will there be any impact for Datastage8.1 application because of this WAS upgrade. Could you guys please help me.

I believe the IBM site says that Version 7 is not compatible with 8.1.

Please look at the product site for that answer.

You can't just apply any version of WAS to this application. It won't work.

Information Server 8.7 runs on WAS 7. Maybe you should upgrade both sets of software at the same time and do a single set of regression tests and get all the benefits of 8.5 and 8.7 enhancements.
