Post by MT »

Hi

we are in front of an architecture decision - we will not get a LPAR for every environemnt so I am very interested in your opinions.
Every answer is very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I assume you have some kind of a multi-tenant situation where each project will be pretty much autonomous.

I've seen multiple installations in a single LPAR before (usually different versions for limited duration), but I would never do it in a production environment. Whatever the perceived benefits might be, the headaches will not be worth it.

The fact that you're even asking the question tells me that you should be looking at a grid deployment.
