Datastage Server Shutdown

Post by altruist »

Hi,

We have two datastage environments, one on Windows and the other on Unix.

Admins are planning to make emergency shutdown to both the Servers (Windows and Unix).

Are there any precautions that should be taken as a Datastage Admin (or) we just have to restart Datastage Application (its components) after the Servers are up.

Thanks

About the only "precaution" I can think of would be to shut them down gracefully if you have the chance to do that.

I didn't understand the "shut them down gracefully". Do you mean the Servers? Or the Apps ?
