Datastage 8.5 Certification And Try It Again Voucher

Hi all,
I hope this is right place to ask question about certification.

First question, what can I study to take 8.5 certification?

Second question, is it possibile to use voucher TIA with datastage?

I don't know about the "try it again" voucher.

The IBM web site has a link for a sample test, but all it does is take you back to the study guide bullet list.

It would be nice if there was a sample test.

Hi all,
I contacted directly IBM certification assistance.
Try It Again Voucher can be used for datastage cert, selecting Info Mgmt from Prometric site.
So if you failed first exam, you have second chance.

Not exists sample test for 8.5.....

I checked on the Take It Again voucher. It's like insurance and appears to cost an extra $30 above the regular exam price. It's only valid to let you take the text again if you purchase it before taking the test the first time.

Another option - if you go to the IBM Information On Demand conference (October 23 - October 27, 2011) you can take three certification exams for free. You can also take the assessment tests for free if you are attending the conference.

Note that you will only have two attempts to pass any single test, since the certification policy states that you must wait 30 days before the third attempt.

Not sure what country you are in, but I think you want the Info Mgmt option. It looks like the (Info Mgmt 706 & 736) option is for a Cognos exam and a DB2 upgrade exam only which are lower cost exams. To take the 418 DataStage v8 exam, the base Info Mgmt voucher should be the one you want. In the US, the 418 exam costs $200 and the 706 only costs $100.
