Can you elaborate just a wee bit on your requirement? Details such as when you need to get the logs (immediately? once nightly?) and what exactly you need to do with them will help shape a cogent answer. Note that this doesn't need to be a "routine" as all of the same functionality is available at the command line using dsjob if a scripted approach would be... more better.
