Schema Library Manager Option Missing in the Client 8.5

Hi Guys,

I am not able to find Schema Library Manager Option Under Import - on the Datastage Client. Is this a Separate licence or i thought it comes with DATASTAGE 8.5 and also not able to find the New XML Stage too.

Apreciate your thoughts on this.

The new XML assembly did not come with 8.5 - it came as a patch after 8.5 and it also comes in the 8.5 Fix Pack 1. See my blog post Three New DataStage Stages in Information Server 8.5 Fix Pack 1.

Can i install FixPack 1 for 8.5 on a Windows 64 BIT WINDOWS 2008 R2 STANDARD.

You can install Fix Pack 1 on any supported platform. Yours is a supported platform - the fact that you have installed 8.5 there is not sufficient evidence of this - you need to check the Planning, Installation and Configuration Guide.

I am trying to install FIXPACK1 IS 8.5 on windows. I have updated my Update installetr to latest versions on Client and Server. How do i start Updating my Server where i have all Services,Engine, Metadata repo sittting in one place.

Um...I believe that the instructions are available in the <a href="http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocente ... 1.html">IS 8.5 FixPack 1 Release Notes</a> under the Installing Version 8.5 FixPack 1. Just follow the links.
