Unable to open Job(String index out ofrange:-1)Infosphere8.5

Hi Ray

We have installed Infosphere 8.5 server edition on Windows 2003 server.We have exported a project from Ascential Datastage 7.5v Windows 2003 server and imported into Infosphere 8.5v.

When we tried to open some of subsequences from the main Sequence.we are getting the below error.

Unable to open the Job

String index out of range: -1

However for some of the subsequences,we are able to open them without any error.

For those subsequences which failed to open,the parameters defined earlier(in the 7.5v import) are not seen in the properties tab from the main sequence,when we opened that subsequence from the main sequence.

Hi,
Can you please double check that the jobs you are trying to open were imported with the export file!
and do exists inthe project
There is a chance that you ommited read only objects and they were read only, causing you to have a sequence tat tries to run a job that doesn't exist in the project.

The subsequences which are unable to open from Main sequence exists in the project.I am able to open the subsequences individually.

Do we need to make any changes the DSPARAMS file in the in the project folder,once we take export from Datastage 7.5v and import to Infosphere 8.5v?
