Second, we need to ask about what you searched for here. Both "Failed to register this user for SQL" and "is not a valid SQL user" should help.

Check if you have privilages to where you need (project's instalation directory and such)
My guess would be you have no privilages in the directory that your projects are on, where dsadm is concerned.
As for the other users they have no privilages also in the installation directory.
But those are only guesses...
Also you might want to make shure you have privilages to hidden files related to DS.

When did it last work?
What happened since then?
Did your AIX box reboot?
Are you in an HA cluster and did it fail over?
How is your metadata database (Still up)?
Did you delete the files in your project directory?
Are all mounts present on your server?
Any mounts run up to 100% full?
Are you using LDAP authentication to log in to your servers?
Did the AD groups get messed up?
What do your Websphere logs look like?
When did it last work?
What happened since then?
Did your AIX box reboot?
Are you in an HA cluster and did it fail over?
