Not able to administer projects in IIS console

Post by pratyusha »

I have newly started working on 8x. When I log in to IIS console( with admin credentials) I am not able to see any projects. When I say open project I see an empty list. There are projects and jobs in this environment. I am able to see them and work on them from the Administrator client but not from the console.
Can anyone please let me know if there are any settings I am missing..
Thanks for reading..

The Datastage Project folder will not be visible here,
you will have to create your own project to do use the projects under datastage for may be a webservice or something.

I am not able to see any projects >>>> initially you wont see any projects.
initially it will be an empty list that doesnt mean the DataStage project is empty.

you are not missing any settings.

If you are an admin or you are using admin id, it shouldnt be disabled.
when you install DS, "isadm" is the admin user which gets created for the console.

You administer projects in the appropriate tool - DataStage, Information Analyzer, etc. Once user project credentials have been added in that tool they become visible (but not editable) in the Web Console.
