Viewing One Off Scheduled Job

Post by markgeorgefath »

If we schedule a job to run on a regular basis we have no problem viewing the schedule however if we schedule a job to run as a one off we are unable to view it on the schedule. Any help appreciated

Welcome. What exactly do you mean by 'unable to view it on the schedule'? Meaning you don't see it in the DataStage Director client or it's not in the crontab entry for the scheduling user? The former shouldn't really be happening but the latter would be a case of looking in the wrong place.

Recurring schedules are handled by 'cron' while singleton "one-off" runs are handled by 'at'. You would have to query 'at' itself to see the schedule outside of the client tool.

If the job has started executing then the schedule will be cleared. If the job has not started yet you can definitely view it.
