IS IT POSIBLE TO USE DATASET AS SOURCE FILE?

Datasets can be used as source in your jobs as long as your dataset is created by some other DataStage job.

Regarding the read methods, the information that is displayed when you select the option will provide you the details.

:idea: A couple of suggestions, one of which you've already been given and seem to be ignoring...

1. Posting in ALL CAPS is considered to be SHOUTING so please don't do that. Unless you feel the need to shout, of course.

2. Don't put multiple subjects in the same post, keep them on a one-to-one basis. It helps everyone out and keeps subjects straight.

SMS type language can be avoided too.
Impossible doesn't mean 'it is not possible' actually means... 'NOBODY HAS DONE IT SO FAR'

Interview questions should definitely be avoided. We believe that answers to interview questions should be the candidate's own answers, not those of experts on a forum.
