I have started working on an open source tool which would make a few things easier for the datastage developer.
Some of the things which I am planning to incorporate in this utility:
Creation of job reports
Schedule of backups
Launching of datastage client components

I have posted the final requirements for the tool dsSurfer. I'll put up the screenshots of the UI once I am done with it (Hopefully by 06/25/2008).
