Unable to connect to Host

I've installed client and server edition of datastage 7.5 on my local PC in Windows Xp.When i'm trying to connect to it through Host:"localuv" and my login username and pwd, I'm getting the following error:-

"Failed to connect to host,localuv:Project UV
The host name specified is not valid or the host is not responding 81011"

Please help me out..

Can you connect if the Omit button is checked?

Are you using a legally licensed copy of DataStage server? This symptom can occur if the licence has expired.
