How long does it take to renew Membership?

Post by gateleys »

I placed an order for my DSXchange premium membership renewal and have an order confirmation for the same from dcs-strategies.com. However, its been 2 days and it seems they still haven't renewed my membership. DSXchange tells me that my premium membership has expired.

How long does it take for the premium membership to kick in after you've ordered for the renewal?

OK, I got my premium membership renewed .... not without a reminder email though!!!

Until then, I got to see the 'other side' (when logged in without a premium membership)... ah!!! those 'Premium Content' buttons sure don't look nice. $49 is looks so trivial.

Good to be back. 8)

Are you referring to the aesthetics, or simply the appearance, of the buttons. Apparently they don't look very good in IE, but are somewhat better if you use some other browser such as FireFox, NetScape or Safari.

So?

This is meaningless outside the Untied States.

And another thing. Why do you refer to gridiron as "football" when the ball never touches the foot of most players, and only rarely touches the foot of a specialist kicker for whom the whole game stops while they come on, have their kick, and go off the ground again. Sheesh!

Football is played with a round ball. The WORLD GAME.

To respond to the "So?"

gateleys identifies their location as USA, two days elapsed puts the renewal at Friday, the last two days are Superbowl weekend here in the US. My point would be that anyone confirming membership renewal would be obviously NOT watching the game or atleast in a bar or pub or restaurant or party having fun. Here in the US Superbowl is a big deal, it's a time for neighbors to gather, drink beer, eat spicy chicken legs/wings, and watch a sport.

If Americans want to watch a lot of men running around on a field, we'd probably be more interested in watching track and field, because at least we're guaranteed a winner or something. 60 minutes of guys in baggy shorts running around has not interested Americans, even if it's David Beckham.

As for the spherical nature of the ball, yes, the ball has evolved overtime from whence it was more rounded. The current shape allows for aerodynamic effects that enable a proficient sportsman to hurl it 75 yards to an olympic class sprinter and outjump two defenders. This is opposed to a bunch of guys running around.

As for the "WORLD GAME" comment, if I may be so bold as to speak for all Americans: that's fine with us. We'll keep our game, you keep yours.

I guess it was like I should be the only one having fun and you guys should be workin'. Hehehe!!!!

Kenneth, I see you placed in FL.. that should cheer you up since the Pats could not take the 'clean sweep' title away from the Dolphins.

I thought you mentioned in one of your posts (was it you??) that you were from Wisconsin. .... in which case, you'd surely be sore that the Giants came out victorious.

As for me, I wanted to see history being made .... which wasn't to be.

Ray, in "Australian rules football", do the players use mainly their feet, or is it their hands?

No no, you got me wrong. What I meant was that not having a premium membership showed you the 'premium content button' instead of the premium content itself. And that is what is ugly. The button may be a gem, but who cares.. it is still ugly when faced with the fact that you can't view the content. Just trying my wee bit to get folks to upgrade to premium membership.. that's all!!

I live just outside the Tampa city limits so I support my local team the Buccaneers. The Giants came down here and smashed them, they were weak anyway. I was sooooo happy that the Giants nicely beat the Cowboys in Dallas, as since I grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin my heart is with the Packers. I knew the Packers would clobber anyone playing them in Green Bay and since the Packers have never beat Dallas in Dallas I was a Giants fan. But I smelled the scent of destiny when I saw how good the Giants were in Dallas, I knew that the Packers would probably lose as they're a young team.

I was Giants all the way against the Patriots. I was at my neighbors party where the die-hard Patriots fan (a transplant to Florida from Boston) was pulling his hair out. We all sensed impending doom but politely kept the celebration down. There was no respect for the NFC teams as they haven't won since the Buccanneers in 2002, so it was good to remind them of how the black-and-blue smash mouth American football is meant to be played.

The Patriots are like a bunch of ballerinas, too much passing and kicking. They ran up against a team that gave them a good beat down, something they weren't used to getting all season. It would have been nice to see the Packers do it, but I'm happy either way.

I would have loved to see Favre and his men do it too.

BTW, we do know who the sore losers are .... Brady and Moss skipping the Pro Bowl ..... probably learning from their coach who would not even wait for the final play. Classless!!!!
