SAP PACK for R/3 Extraction Problem

Hello,

I am using the ABAP SAP PACK for R/3 to extract some data from SAP. I am having a problem when trying to extract fields with a datatype of RAW. If I manually change the destination field length to be greater than 17 (the default for a raw i believe) then I get an error saying that there is a mismatch in number of column between data and link. If I change the field length to <= 17 then it works fine. Can anybody help? If you need any further information, please let me know.
