Using DB2 Connector over ODBC connectoris degrading the perf

Hi,
While performing Column Analysis in Information Analyzer, when using DB2 connector is making the job run slow as compared to the job that ran with ODBC connector.
The Database used is DB2 only.
Say for 350 Million records analysis, ODBC job took 1 hour but the DB2 job took close to 1 hour 20 minutes.
Can someone please help me in understanding, why DB2 connector is taking more time compared to ODBC one, even though the database used in DB2?
