Post by andy心&#262 »

OS:windows XP SP3
PS: 7.5.1 for windows
DB:sql2000(SP4)

I am learning PS by myself now. When I load database meta data, I get an error "Meta Data Loader Done. Process halted due to problem(s) ". Hope sb. can help me.

Here is the detail:
10-28 20:33:21: MyNoetebook\GenOdbc2Mxf: 5039 0 Program GenOdbc2Mxf running. Computer: MyNoetebook. Process ID: 1936. Program ID: 18.
10-28 20:33:21: MyNoetebook\GenOdbc2Mxf: 7 0 Unable to continue. Contact technical support.
10-28 20:33:21: Meta Data Loader Done.
Process halted due to problem(s).

I installed PS7.5.1 on my notebook Windows XP(sp3), client and server.
The database also be created on my notebook.

The repository of PS is PSDB on sql2000, and I use MSDB (an example database of sql2000) as my source database, and create a targert database on the sql2000. I also create 3 ODBC connections to the 3 db.

Best wishes!

In the messages it states "Contact technical support". I suggest that this is your best option. There are far too many possible causes of failure to load metadata than can easily be canvassed here.

I check the log
main::Init: Unable to create Hash2Sql object for table 'SystemConfig':
Hash2Sql::new: No columns found for table 'SystemConfig'. Undefined table?

I find others has a same issue before, he used oracle as repository.
His fix the issue by changing oracle standard driver into DataDirect driver.

I changed the driver too, it is still not work.
A friend of mine install the same PS, his OS is win2003。
He can load meta data successfully.

My OS is WinXP SP3, PS is 7.5.1.

Do you have any idea?
