Looking up the reference table

Post by Murali4u »

Hi all,
I have a datasource which has 10 tables with millions of data each (say transactions about employee (employee id) . I have another reference table which has only employee ids and I need to do a profiling on each of the table by referring the key value (employee id) of each employee in that referenece table mean we should profile all the data in each of the transaction tables. Can we able to achieve this in IA.

Also pls share if anyone had experienced this scenario earlier.

Data profiling using Data Rule component of IA requires understanding of data as well as profiling goal you want to achieve. It's not too clear about profiling goal from your posting. Based on your positing, I can say that following profiling activities can be done with transcation tables in reference to reference table, for instance:
Containment check
Equality Check
Existence check
Occurrence check
Reference column check
Reference list check

That's what are you trying to achieve?
