Hi.
Do anyone know what files that are needed only to execute the maps?
We have a server, which needs to run some maps. but i only want the files required to run the map. Datastage is on another machine.

That would probably require another license so you may as well do an install.

Well we have what do you call it, enterprice licensing. So we can use whereever we want. But when installing a server, we want to minimise the amount of files, and only use the files required to run the maps.

The run time files will depend on which adapters you are using. It wouls be safer to do an install, there aren't that many files.

Dont use any adapters, just need the files to run the *.mmc
And since its to be run at the customer site, there is no need to install the program.

But surely your mmc uses some adapters. All the cards can't be sink.

Are you saying that TX is installed on the machine and now you want to know what files are required to run a map? or TX is not installed and you want to know the minimum files required to run any map?

If you are asking the first question it depends on you map. If it's simple file input output and your are passing the data in via the runmap command line then you might be able to have the mmc only. If you are using resource files, DB connections, etc.... You'll require more. In this case you question might not be specific enough.

If you are asking the second, you'll need to install TX on the box.
