come with the DataStage literature ?

Bibhu,

Design and Performance are ideal bed fellows in a course to give understanding.

Design choices always involve a trade of a number of issues:
- Performance,
- Maintian Ability,
- Re-useability,
- Standards,
- Aesthetics.

It should come as no surprise that the choice of which is most important will change in a different situations. Not much point in optimising a job for performance if it only processes 10 rows. Not point in optimising for Maintian Ability in a job that will never change.

Ray is absolutely right..I use Rays material (Advanced DataStage) as part
of my lectures very often (Thanks Ray).

We might be offering similar courses in the very near future here in US.
