Is there a function in datastage that will convert EBCDIC to ASCII !?

There are two complementary functions.
ASCII(x) will convert from EBCDIC to ASCII.
EBCDIC(x) will convert from ASCII to EBCDIC.

HOWEVER-----
Beware that there is more than one variant of EBCDIC. (This is particularly true in Japan.)
