DataStage 4.2.1 on IBM SP/AIX - more

We seem to have isolated this to a problem with our network (not sure what just yet). The most serious problem now (other than DS is still functioning much more slowly than before) is that we cannot Export jobs. In the event that this is an unrelated problem, does anyone have any experience with "unable to Export"? Thanks...
