DataStage 4.2.1 on IBM SP/AIX

We realize that this is most likely a server/OS/installation problem, but in case anyone out there has gone through something similar and has some suggestions, we would appreciate your feedback:

Last week, the node upon which DataStage is installed ran out of filespace unexpectedly (a couple hundred GB of data were moved to the wrong file system). Since that point, DS has gotten increasingly slower, locking up more and more frequently, to the point where now we cannot even open a job nine times out of ten.

Our server support people have cleaned up the server, recycled DS and recycled the node. Nothing has improved. We are at the point where we will be re-installing DS.

We are new to DS (less than four months). No one here has enough knowledge to know what might have been corrupted (or even if the problem may be unrealted to running our of filespace). Any thoughts (or even suggestions on how best to perform the re-install) will be appreciated. Thanks!..
