Problem Logging On - User Name / Password not correct

When trying to connect to a project from DS Designer, there is a user name / password incorrect error.
There are other developers belonging to the same group who can log on successfully.
The user name and password works fine from a unix emulator. Previously, the user name has been used without error.
Has anyone faced such type of problem before?
