Situation we are having is on two servers running Datastage (One currently Production, the other DR)
Message we got tonight on the production server was when the first datastage job ran.
UniVerse/SQL: Failed to establish internal local connection.
We have also found if we tryto run a Universe session on the DR server we also get the same message.
The Production server has been bounced
We believe there have been no changes made to the Kernel
Could this be a Universe licence issue.
Have any Datastage users come across this problem before

No One had touched the uvodbc.config. But that lead us to the problem. For some reason yet to be determined DNS resolution had been changed.
To cut a long story short when we changed
host = localhost
TO
host = 127.0.0.1
It all worked again.
