Accessing to UniVerse on Windows 2000

Post by admin »

I all,

Im working with DataStage 4.0.2 (server component) on Windows 2000 Workstation. Ive windows 2000 telnet service installed on. How can I logon to UniVerse by console? I tried to start "D:ArdentDataStageServerEnginebinuv.exe", but output is not formatted rigthly.

Thanks in advance

Goto a MS-DOS command prompt. Type in telnet serveripaddress. This is how you reach the box. NT (MS-DOS) is not the same as Unix, you just telnet to the server. If you have a better terminal emulator I suggest you use it.

Good luck!
