Run SQL from DataStage jobs

Is there a way to execute a sequential file which contains several SQL statements within a DataStage job?

What we have is a file we run manually each day to count changed/inserted rows in our Oracle database for various tables. It would be nice to automate this procedure. One theory was to have this simple text file "Run" at the end of the last job in our daily jobstream. Weve used the ExecDOS command before, but cant seem to find a command or method to run something on our Oracle box. Were running DataStage 3.1 on an NT Server.

Any ideas?
